This part is going to either have an interview between me and Sarah, or just have her write the whole thing. I'm not sure which one I want to do yet. That's something I'm going to have to speak with her about. Let's see.
Pre-cut veggies. Don't be a lazy bum, do it yourself and save some cash.
"Zero carb" or "zero calorie" foods. What the hell are you spending your money on that shit for? It's not going to fuel you, and zero-calorie foods taste like shit. Stop it.
"All natural" products that are anything but. Look at the ingredients. If you see all kinds of stuff you can't pronounce, it's probably not "all natural".
Stuff you could easily make at home.
This is the best formula to use when it comes to getting as much bang for your buck as you can. Brown rice is fucking glorious, yaaaay.
Carbs are the cheapest
Protein is in the middle, depends on what you get
Fat is crazy expensive.
You can afford organic produce by not spending all your money on booze and cigarettes. You can also save up whatever spare change you have. Blah blah blah, first world problems. Seriously though, there's a superbug that's antibiotic resistant, and it's started in China, spread to Europe, and now it's in Canada. Yaaay.
The best time to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables is now! Right now!
Tomatoes are cool in the summer, and winter squash is great in the winter, DUHHH.
